Georgia Driver Testimonials
Mr. Jones' Testimonial

In the (7) seven short years I've been driving trucks, I have not come across a company that is just as concerned about how their trucks look as well as how they run. That's exactly what attracted me to Gypsum Express. Seeing all those Pretty Red Trucks pulling those Pretty Red Curtain Side (Roll-tite) trailers was a big turn on for me.

After talking to a few of the drivers that were piloting these beautiful pieces of finely crafted machinery, it was a "done deal", a "no brainer". They could not say enough about the honesty of the company and the good pay they were making. I had to find out for myself. I did so about six months ago and haven't regretted that decision for one moment.

Working with a group of Professional Drivers like those at GYPSUM EXPRESS, LTD has been a great experience. I have the privilege of making good money and being home every night as a short haul driver. This is by far the best company I've ever worked for. If the Terminal Manager or a Dispatcher tells you something, you can take it to the bank and cash it, cause is it's good. The honesty, openness and concern for drivers displayed by everyone in the company is truly refreshing. Even the owner makes himself available to any driver that has a concern to express.

I really have never experienced an operation quite like this before. I am so happy I followed my heart and went where the Pretty Red Trucks led me.

Willie's Testimonial

I've been driving trucks since I was 23 years old. I'm 70 now, so that's about 47 years. I've been driving for Gypsum Express for about 18months. I have a neighbor that has driven for the company for quite a while and he always spoke highly of the Company. I've always enjoyed pulling flatbed and he told me they were looking for more drivers. Gypsum looked like a company with excellent equipment and my neighbor seemed very happy.

Once I came on board with Gypsum Express, all the things I had thought and heard proved to be true. Things like: excellent equipment, friendly people to work with, dispatchers that treat you with respect, an open door policy throughout the company, terminal managers and regional manager that are easy to get along with and an owner that is accessible are just some of the things that have kept me here the past 18 months.

In 47 years, I have worked for about 5 or 6 companies. Of the 5 or 6 companies I worked for, Gypsum Express is by far the best company I've ever worked for. Like I said before, the people are genuinely friendly and easy to get along with; you make a decent living with excellent benefits, and don't have all the headaches you get from a company that may pay you a few more pennies a mile.
