The Ultimate in Maintenance Facilities
February 1, 2008  Gypsum Express is proud to announce the opening of our newest maintenance shop conveniently located on Loop Rd in the Radisson Industrial Park less than eight miles from exit 39 on the NYS Thruway. This state of the art facility is home to eight trailer bays, twelve tractor bays and two tire bays. It is equipped with overhead cranes as well as portable truck lifts. The 28,000+ square foot facility is located on approximately six full acres including a fully lit and paved parking area, a driver’s lounge with both cable television and internet access and a lunch room with vending machines.The new shop is a full service repair center that can handle all major collision repairs. There is always someone on call for breakdown help and all breakdowns are covered by company accounts or Tchek. Five service trucks are available to handle road calls within a two hour driving radius of the shop. The new fully manned and enclosed parts room has been stocked with more than $400,000.00 in parts inventory with computerized bar coding for accurate parts listing. The infusion of new technology doesn’t stop there. Each mechanic’s work station is equipped with computer touch screens that can access Electronic Control Modules to identify any fault codes or excessive fuel consumption issues. The tire department is fully stocked with an on-site inventory of tractor and trailer tires from a variety of well know manufactures. We also offer full alignments on tractors and trailers, onsite truck washing and a 30,000 gallon bulk fuel tank with two dispensers for quick fills. We haven’t earned the reputation as one of the best maintenance facilities in Central New York on our use of technology alone. The facility is also staffed with a caring and qualified group of 25 mechanics who are ready to help you.
